Julia Fischer-Bernard was born in October 1973 in Düsseldorf / Germany and grew up in Belgium.
She received theatre lessons from 1985 till 1991. During this time she took part in several contests and won in 1987 in the "Concours de la Communauté Française" the Audience Prize.
She played Isaak in the "Chester Mystery Plays", an international theatre play (with M. Manford May, Carlo Ferrante, Vera Vandoren a.o.) which was performed in Belgium, France and England.
After the high school degree, she studied tourism and languages and received further trainings in entertainment and group guidance (from 1992 till 1995)
Since 1993 she defined herself, regarding her profession as a "bridge builder" (translations & specific management works). She worked for real estates, banks, hospitals and insurances, as employee, in Belgium, Germany and Spain.
Also in Majorca, Julia did not neglect her creative affinity and presented in 1999 "Na Patayo", a theatre play composed and written by herself using an invented language.
Also in 1999 she combined her technical knowledge with her theatre experience and started to teach languages.
In 2006 she performed again "Na Patayo" in a slight different version (this time with the participation of Claudia Hubberten and Anthony Reid).
She also organized and attended various exhibitions for art, jewellery and paintings: from 1991 to 2006.
The idea of the "haima" she created now for the events or, in general the idea of an alternative accommodation is already familiar to Julia. She lived several years in a circus wagon in the forest and participated in the construction of an innovative straw house with pentagonal form.
Julia came to Majorca more than ten years ago and currently lives in the south of the island.
